Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers

I'm sure by now that every mommy out there has seen the commercials for the new Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers. They are designed with the squirmy baby in mind, to be easily slipped on as the baby flips and turns to get away from his diaper change.

I recently bought Jumbo sized pack of these at my local Target; they had a great sale and I combined it with a coupon I had for $3.00 off making them only about $4.00 out of pocket.
Instead of trying them out right away, I waited until we had used up the currently open pack of diapers, about a week later.

The first thing I noticed when I opened up the package of the Slip-On diapers, was the size difference between the new diapers and the current ones that we use, the Huggies Snug & Dry. I double checked the size requirements on both packages, and they were the same weight limits on both. Against my better judgement, I gave it a go anyway.

The first diaper was unsuccessful. Yes, it was easy to put on, but I noticed that you could see the top of Caleb's little bottom peeking up above the back of the diaper (plumber's would have been envious) but I let it go anyway. Bad mistake!

A messy diaper AND clothing change later, I thought that maybe I just hadn't pulled them up all the way and that's why everything came up the back and all over his clothes and changing blanket. So I decided to give it another go, giving the diaper the benefit of the doubt.
Yet another clothing change later, I decided that I would not be using these diapers again and needed to write to Huggies to tell them about what I considered to be a majr design flaw. Instead of just throwing them out or giving them to a neighbor (we just moved last weekend and I don't know them yet!) I listed them for sale on a local online "yard sale" group I participate in on Facebook, and I was able to sell the opened package for $3.00 to another family that could use them. (More on that group later!)
I sent off my complaint to Huggies through their contact form on their website, and they quickly responded back to me in a personal e-mail, saying we they were sorry that this wasn't a good product for our family and that they would be sending me some coupons for the inconvenience.

Well, guess what I got a few days later!

I'll still keep using Huggies diapers for Caleb, they've worked for both of my boys over the last five years. Thank you Huggies and Kimberly Clark for great customer service; we'll definitely be using these!
