Build-A-Bear Workshop is celebrating two major milestones in 2012. It’s their 15th birthday and they’ve sold their 100 millionth furry friend! ! Since the company opened its doors in St. Louis Galleria on October 27, 1997 it has grown to become a global brand while being recognized as a company with heart.
We have two Build-A-Bear creatures in our house; one a monkey named Sixx that Hubs and I made on our 4th anniversary trip to Disneyland in Build-A-Bear’s Downtown Disney location and a Darth Vader bear that Logan made for his third birthday with his Aunt.
These friends are just as treasured to Logan as his Spider and sleep most nights in his bed to keep the baddies away.
